Having Qualified from Newcastle University back in 1983, I have some 30 years experience in the dental profession and made Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FFGDP) by examination and Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Admission to fellowship of the International College is by invitation only and is an acknowledgment of the high regard in which the member is held in their dental community. It also marks one's ability to deliver the highest standard of patient care and dental competence.
My interests are Smile Design, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry and Orthodontics. I have postgraduate qualifications in Restorative Clinical Practice from the world-renowned Eastman Hospital and in June 2007 achieved Diploma in Implant Dentistry(Advanced Certificate) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England. I have also held the post of Senior Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at Southend General Hospital for 25 years.
I am a full Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Association of Dental Implantologists and Course Tutor in the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at The Royal College of Surgeons, London. I am a mentor for the Ankylos Implant System for Dentsply and work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team in Specialist Referral Centre in Colchester. I am an examiner for the MJDF and Fellowship examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
