– I carried out my VT year – 2 days a week at each of the 2 branches of the practice, Bedford and Watford. This has exposed me to a varied patient base of differing financial backgrounds and treatment need.
– I have carried out routine NHS dentistry and will reach my UDA target before the deadline.
– I have also carried out private dental work ranging from private crown and bridgework including carbon fibre bridges, private endodontics using the RACE rotary system, crown lengthening procedures and many composite build ups.
– I have done one implant case mentored by my trainer, and observed and assisted in over 50 implant cases which have included implant placements, sinus lifting procedures, bone grafting and chin block bone grafts.
– Due to the surgical orientation of the practice I have carried out over 30-40 surgical extractions and treated on average between 20-30 patients a day.
– I have also carried out and assisted in numerous IV Sedation cases.
– During my VT year I have completed over 163 hours of CPD to date, of which 75 hours are verifiable.
