Retired from clinical practice August 2014 after 38 years.
As "The RA Coach", I teach and mentor dental professionals for success in Inhalation Sedation including for adults as a practice builder and as a key to unlocking treatment plan acceptance, from the 50% of patients who are dentally anxious to some degree.
Having celebrated 23 years in my own practice in Newbury, the practice was sold in 2012.
In 1999 I gained a prestigious Full Membership of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.

Ably assisted my my wife Chris Charon RDN, I run hands-on training courses in Inhalation Sedation (RA) and mentor dental colleagues, therapists and hygienists, through to certified competency in this discipline and dental nurses to attain an appropriate level of training enabling them to assist in this technique..

I have a chapter on the subject in Stephen Hudson's first compilation book "Messages from Dental Masters"in 2011. In 2011 I gained a level 4 C&G basic teaching award via Newbury College (PTLLS).
Speaker at The Dentistry Show in 2012 & 2014 and at the BADT conference 2014.

Expertise in helping anxious & phobic dental patients. I have developed & run hands-on training courses for dentists & their teams from all over the UK & Ireland since 2003. The course has been run in Wexford twice & Dublin in the Republic of Ireland & also in Morpeth, Northumberland, Saddleworth ,Stratford on Avon by invitation.Also in London and Salford with Henry Schein Dental and A-Dec respectively. To date the course has been delivered 41 times.
