Kirstie qualified in 2006 from the University of Leeds as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. In 2010 she completed a PG Certificate in Medical and Clinical Education at the University of Essex, where she is now a lecturer in Oral Health Sciences. In 2012 Kirstie was the recipient of the Young Hygienist/Therapist of the Year award at the DH&T Awards.
Between January 2012 and December 2013 she completed postgraduate studies in Enhanced Skills in Clinical Periodontology at King's College Hospital.
Kirstie divides her working week between Private general practice, Private Specialist practice and lecturing at the University of Essex.
