Over the last 10 years, I have gained clinical skills through treating patients in general practice, with specialist experience gained from previous hospital posts. I am enthusiastic, reliable and considerate when relating to an already established dental team. When possible, I always try to keep motivated to expand my knowledge and improve my skills.

PRACTICE DUTIES
For the last 7 years, I have worked within a busy 4 surgery practice.
This has allowed me to gain a firm understanding of the NHS contract and how to provide the care required to sustain a high UDA target. This includes an awareness of the benchmarks set by NHS England for quality of care. From an initially unstable patient list, I was able to provide care to stabilise, then moved to progressively more advanced and private treatments, when requested.
I am confident with the differences between NHS and private treatments, can communicate these to patients effectively and provide both to benefit their care.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Within the hospital positions held, I gained experience of publishing of research, presenting of articles, teaching and auditing. I am keen to maintain a varied CPD portfolio.
