I qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital in September 1993 and awarded for clinical excellence. I have worked in both NHS and private practices, and was a tutor hygienist at Birmingham Dental Hospital before dedicating my clinical practice to fully private.
I was elected BSDHT midlands chair for a number of years and priviledged to represent them at both regional and national scientific meetings.
Since 2011 I have trained alongside odontologists in the developing role of assisting in the UK DVI team.
To expand by clinical knowledge I began studying in January 2014 at UCLAN for a BSc in Dental studies, with 2 modules completed, I am due to graduate in 2016.
I have recently set up a peer/study group in the Derby area for fellow colleagues to meet regularly to discuss clinical issues and offer verifiable CPD.
